The journey up with our Parliamentary Candidate for St Austell & Newquay was always going to be lively, but not quite as lively as this! In the fast lane ... undisclosed speed ... BANG! Tyre blew out - fairly scary it has to be said, Steve managed not to panic and steered us onto the hardshoulder and then with skill that could have McLaren head hunting he got it all sorted.
The three of us were slightly rattled and a steady pace was kept for the remaining distance.
